Hora dourada, hora azul e crepúsculo em Austin. Dados astronômicos NASA JPL DE441.
Conselho fotográfico
Mount Bonnell at sunset: face west over Lake Austin and the Hill Country ridges. Barton Springs south bank in late afternoon for the downtown skyline reflected in flat river water with warm backlight.
Austin sits where the Colorado River (locally called Town Lake) cuts through the Texas Hill Country, 260 meters above sea level. The river runs roughly east-west through the city, making the south-facing shoreline useful for afternoon light on the downtown skyline. Barton Springs Pool, fed by Barton Creek from the southwest, catches warm western light in late afternoon. Mount Bonnell, Austin's highest city viewpoint at 312 meters, faces west over Lake Austin and the Hill Country directly toward the sunset. At 30.3°N, golden hour compresses to about 29 minutes year-round. The Texas Hill Country to the west, with cedar-covered ridges rolling to the horizon, softens the sunset into warm rolling gradients rather than hard-edged colours.
