Draconic chart
The chart of your deeper self
The draconic chart rotates your natal chart so that the North Node sits at 0° Aries. It is sometimes read as a map of the soul’s intention — who you are beneath the personality. It is not a replacement for the natal chart. It is another lens.
Calculation: all natal longitudes are shifted by subtracting the North Node longitude. The North Node therefore lands at exactly 0° Aries in the draconic chart.
In draconic synastry, strong contacts between one person’s draconic chart and the other person’s natal positions are read as indicators of a deep, pre-personal resonance — a sense that this connection carries meaning beyond the surface of how the two people met.
