About this chart
No birth time is documented for this person. The chart therefore shows planetary positions in their signs, the slow aspects between them, and the generational context — but not house placements, the Ascendant, or the Midheaven, which require an accurate birth time. The Moon's sign carries a ±6° margin: if it falls near a sign boundary, the sign could vary. Positions for all other planets are reliable.

No birth time is documented for Michael Jackson. The Ascendant, Midheaven, and house positions cannot be determined. The planetary positions below are calculated for noon local time and are accurate to within a fraction of a degree for the slow-moving planets. The Moon's position carries a margin of approximately ±7°.
The Sun is at 5°52' Virgo. The Moon is at 11°34' Pisces (noon position, ±7° margin). Mercury is at 25°32' Leo R. Venus is at 16°44' Leo. Mars is at 21°54' Taurus. Jupiter is at 28°29' Libra. Saturn is at 19°07' Sagittarius. Uranus is at 13°29' Leo. Neptune is at 2°34' Scorpio. Pluto is at 2°09' Virgo.
Three planets occupy Leo: Mercury at 25°32' retrograde, Venus at 16°44', and Uranus at 13°29'. This concentration in a single sign is a structural feature independent of birth time. The Sun at 5°52' Virgo sits just beyond the Leo-Virgo cusp and is conjunct Pluto at 2°09' Virgo (3°43'). Jupiter at 28°29' Libra and Neptune at 2°34' Scorpio are conjunct across the sign boundary (4°05').
The tightest major aspects between planets: Neptune sextile Pluto (0°25'), Venus trine Saturn (2°23'), Mars quincunx Saturn (2°47'), Mercury sextile Jupiter (2°57'), Venus conjunct Uranus (3°15'), Sun sextile Neptune (3°18'), Mercury square Mars (3°38'), Sun conjunct Pluto (3°43'), Jupiter conjunct Neptune (4°05'), Sun opposition Moon (5°42' — time-dependent).
The engine also identifies the following tight minor aspects involving asteroids and calculated points: saturn sextile chiron (0.19° app); pluto semi-square vesta (0.27° sep); sun sesquiquadrate lilith (0.31° app); pallas sextile northNode (0.34° sep).
Those born between approximately 1957 and 1972 carried Pluto in Virgo. This generation grew up amid the civil rights movement, the Vietnam War, and Watergate. They came of age during the economic restructuring of the 1980s, the end of the Cold War, and the rise of the information economy.
In astrological tradition, Pluto in Virgo is associated with collective transformation of the domains that sign governs: work, health, systems of service, practical method, and the relationship between labor and daily life. Virgo is the sign of analysis, precision, and the refinement of process. Pluto's transit through Virgo is read, symbolically, as a generational mandate to overhaul the working order — its techniques, its standards of craft, its relationship to the body. The symbolic reading is correlative, not causal.
Others in the Astrian collection born under this configuration include Barack Obama (1961), Madonna (1958), Diego Maradona (1960), and Quentin Tarantino (1963). Jackson, born in 1958, belongs to the earliest years of this generational wave.
Other profiles from this Pluto in Virgo generation
The following describes what classical astrological tradition associates with these configurations. Astrian does not apply these descriptions to the person's biography.
The Sun at 5°52' Virgo is the most prominent structural feature of this chart. Without a documented birth time, there is no Ascendant or Midheaven — the reading is confined to planetary positions by sign and the aspects between planets.
The Moon at 11°34' Pisces represents the noon position; the actual placement falls within approximately 7° on either side. If born early in the day, the Moon would be in the mid-single digits of Pisces; if born late, in the late teens. The Moon's sign placement in Pisces is probable for the entire day.
Mercury at 25°32' Leo retrograde, Venus at 16°44' Leo, and Mars at 21°54' Taurus complete the personal planet picture.
### The Leo concentration
Three planets in Leo — Mercury retrograde, Venus, and Uranus — constitute the chart's most distinctive personal feature. They span approximately 12° of the sign, from Uranus at 13°29' to Mercury at 25°32'. Within this concentration, Venus and Uranus are conjunct at 3°15', and Mercury sits 8°48' from Venus.
In the vocabulary of the tradition, Leo governs creative self-expression, performance, the dramatization of identity, and the relationship between the individual and the audience. A three-planet concentration in this sign directs a significant proportion of the chart's energy toward these domains.
Venus in Leo operates in the register of aesthetics turned theatrical — beauty that performs, that demands to be seen. Uranus in the same sign introduces the unexpected, the unconventional, the rupture of established form. Their conjunction at 3°15' is read in the tradition as a configuration where the aesthetic sense carries a disruptive charge, where artistic expression is drawn toward what is novel, electric, and outside established boundaries.
Mercury retrograde in Leo adds the communicative faculty to this concentration, though in a mode that the tradition associates with internal revision — thought that circles back, reworks, and edits. Mercury retrograde is read as a communicator whose process is more private and iterative than it first appears.
The following are verified biographical facts. No connection to the natal chart is implied.
Michael Joseph Jackson was born on 29 August 1958 in Gary, Indiana, the eighth of ten children of Joseph Walter Jackson, a crane operator and former musician, and Katherine Esther Jackson (née Scruse), a department store clerk and Jehovah's Witness. The family lived in a small house on Jackson Street. Joseph Jackson organized his sons into a musical group in the mid-1960s; by 1966, the Jackson Brothers — later the Jackson 5 — were performing at talent shows and clubs in Gary, Chicago, and across the Midwest.
Michael was five when he joined the group. He was the lead vocalist from the beginning. In 1968, the Jackson 5 auditioned for Motown Records; Bobby Taylor brought them to Berry Gordy's attention, and they signed in March 1969. Their first four singles — "I Want You Back," "ABC," "The Love You Save," and "I'll Be There" — all reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100, an unprecedented run for a debut act. Michael was eleven years old.
He released four solo albums during the Motown years, including Ben (1972), whose title track reached number one. The family left Motown for Epic Records in 1975 (renamed the Jacksons for legal reasons). Michael's solo career shifted decisively with Off the Wall (1979), produced by Quincy Jones — the album sold 20 million copies and produced four top-ten singles, but did not win Album of the Year at the Grammys. Jackson later said the omission made him determined to create a record that could not be ignored.
Thriller (1982), also produced by Jones, is the best-selling album in history. Estimates range between 66 and 70 million copies sold worldwide. It spent 37 weeks at number one on the Billboard 200. Seven of its nine tracks were released as singles; seven reached the top ten. The album won eight Grammy Awards in 1984. Its music videos — "Billie Jean," "Beat It," and the fourteen-minute short film for the title track — transformed the medium. "Billie Jean" broke the de facto racial barrier on MTV; the choreography for the same song, debuted at the Motown 25 television special in March 1983, introduced the moonwalk to a global audience.
Bad (1987) produced five consecutive number-one singles from a single album — a feat never previously achieved.

### Sun conjunct Pluto in Virgo
The Sun at 5°52' Virgo and Pluto at 2°09' Virgo are within 3°43' of conjunction. The Sun represents the chart's central identity and vitality. Pluto represents transformation, intensity, the drive toward what lies beneath surfaces, and the encounter with power in its most concentrated form. Their conjunction in Virgo — a sign of craft, precision, and the refinement of method — merges identity with the transformative impulse in a register that is technically exacting rather than abstractly dramatic.
In the tradition, Sun-Pluto conjunctions are read as configurations of extraordinary intensity around the question of identity itself. The sense of self operates under Plutonian pressure — to regenerate, to be remade, to encounter depths that ordinary experience does not reach.
### Jupiter conjunct Neptune
Jupiter at 28°29' Libra and Neptune at 2°34' Scorpio are conjunct across the sign boundary, orb 4°05'. Jupiter governs expansion, vision, and the amplification of what it touches. Neptune governs the ideal, the dissolving of fixed boundaries, the capacity for transcendence or illusion. Their conjunction merges the expansive with the dissolving — a configuration that the tradition associates with vision at mythic scale, with the capacity to project an image that exceeds the merely real.
### Venus trine Saturn
Venus at 16°44' Leo trines Saturn at 19°07' Sagittarius, orb 2°23'. Venus governs aesthetics and the sense of beauty; Saturn governs discipline, structure, and the endurance of form. The trine is a harmonious aspect — it connects the aesthetic faculty with structural discipline in a relationship of productive alignment. In the tradition, Venus-Saturn trines are associated with artistic craft that endures, with beauty that is built rather than improvised.
### Mercury square Mars
Mercury at 25°32' Leo retrograde squares Mars at 21°54' Taurus, orb 3°38'. Mercury governs communication and mental process; Mars governs action, physical drive, and the energy of assertion. The square creates friction between thought and action, between what is communicated and what is physically executed. In the tradition, Mercury-Mars squares are associated with a sharp, sometimes combative intelligence and with physical expression that has a communicative edge.
