About this chart
No birth time is documented for this person. The chart therefore shows planetary positions in their signs, the slow aspects between them, and the generational context — but not house placements, the Ascendant, or the Midheaven, which require an accurate birth time. The Moon's sign carries a ±6° margin: if it falls near a sign boundary, the sign could vary. Positions for all other planets are reliable.

Without a documented birth time, house positions, the Ascendant, and the Midheaven are not calculated. Planetary positions in signs are derived from noon on the birth date.
Pedri was born on 25 November 2002 in Tegueste, a small municipality in the northern interior of Tenerife, in the Canary Islands. The Sun at approximately 3° Sagittarius falls in the opening degrees of the sign — the phase of initial directional setting, where the archer's arrow has just left the bow and the trajectory is established. Sagittarius governs the search for meaning through movement and through the perception of wider patterns: the player who needs to see the whole field to make his best decisions.
At his birth, Pluto transited ~17° Sagittarius, reinforcing the Sagittarian quality at the deepest generational level. Neptune was in Aquarius (~10°), and Uranus also in Aquarius (~25°), maintaining the outer-planet emphasis on collective networks and the dissolution of fixed structures. Saturn at approximately 23° Gemini, the sign opposite Sagittarius, describes the specific test: the need to translate expansive vision into concrete, time-pressured action within the physical constraints of actual play.
Jupiter, ruler of Sagittarius, was at approximately 18° Leo at his birth — in the sign of individual performance. The Sagittarius Sun with Leo Jupiter describes a player whose vision is deployed in service of individual brilliance, not merely collective efficiency.
No birth time is documented for Pedri. Planetary sign positions use a noon ephemeris and are approximate.
Pedri belongs to the Pluto in Sagittarius generation (1995–2008), the cohort born into an expanding world and navigating its contradictions. For a child born in Tegueste — a town of fewer than 11,000 people on an island that sits geographically closer to Morocco than to the Spanish mainland — the Sagittarian question of distance and access was not abstract. The Canary Islands are Spanish territory, but they are also Atlantic islands on the African coast, geographically peripheral to the structures of European football power.
Pluto in Sagittarius transformed the talent identification infrastructure of European football with sufficient thoroughness that a teenager from Tegueste could be found, assessed, and routed toward the center of that system with a speed that would not have been available to previous generations. Las Palmas identified him; Barcelona identified him through Las Palmas; within two years of joining La Masia he was first-choice midfielder for the most scrutinised club in the world. The generation that benefits most from this infrastructure is precisely the one born during Pluto's Sagittarian transit.
The generation also carries the shadow of that acceleration: the compression of development, the early demand to produce at the highest level, the specific physical toll of playing 52 of 56 possible games in a debut season at seventeen. Pedri's subsequent injury record — significant muscular problems from 2022 onward — is part of the same story.
Other profiles from this Pluto in Sagittarius generation
The following describes what classical astrological tradition associates with these configurations. Astrian does not apply these descriptions to the person's biography.
A Sagittarius Sun in the first degrees describes an intellect that organises itself around the whole rather than the part. Pedri's defining characteristic as a midfielder — the capacity to see the field as a connected system, to make passes that reorganise space rather than simply connect two points, to sense the game's direction two moves before the move — is the Sagittarian quality applied at the level of tactical intelligence. He does not play the moment; he plays what the moment will become.
The Pluto in Sagittarius conjunction with the Sun's sign deepens the philosophical quality: not surface-level pattern recognition but structural understanding, a perception of why the game is arranged as it is and what that arrangement implies about what is about to happen. Pedri's timing — when to receive, when to carry, when to release — is the expression of this structural intelligence in real time.
Saturn in Gemini, opposite Sagittarius, describes the friction: the compression of vision into action within the seconds available, the body's limits as a constraint on the mind's ambitions. The injuries that interrupted his career were this friction made literal.
The readings above are symbolic and archetypal. They do not constitute psychological diagnoses or predictions.
Astrian does not claim that the natal chart of Pedri caused or determined any of the above. Astrology is a symbolic system with 2,500 years of literature. Its capacity for retrospective description does not imply explanatory capacity.
The following are verified biographical facts. No connection to the natal chart is implied.
Pedro González López, universally known as Pedri, was born on 25 November 2002 in Tegueste, a small municipality in the northern interior of Tenerife. His father played football at a local level. He joined the youth system of UD Tegueste before transferring to UD Las Palmas's academy on the neighbouring island of Gran Canaria.
His development attracted sustained attention from Canarian football and then from mainland Spanish clubs. In 2019, aged sixteen, he signed a pre-contract with FC Barcelona to take effect after a development season at Las Palmas in the Spanish second division. He made sixteen appearances for Las Palmas in 2019–20 before joining Barcelona's first team in July 2020 at seventeen.
His debut season under Ronald Koeman was remarkable for its continuity: he appeared in 52 of 56 possible competitive matches, establishing himself as a first-choice starter from the first months of the campaign. His combination of technical quality, spatial intelligence, and physical resilience — unusual for a player his age — generated comparisons in the Spanish press with Andrés Iniesta and Xavi Hernández.
He represented Spain at UEFA Euro 2020 (held in 2021), where his performances contributed significantly to Spain's run to the semifinal. At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics he was even more central: Spain reached the final, and Pedri won the Golden Ball as the tournament's best player. He finished second in the Golden Boy award for 2021, behind Erling Haaland.
Injuries disrupted his subsequent seasons substantially. A hamstring problem in August 2022 kept him out for several months; further muscular issues recurred through 2023, limiting his availability for extended periods across two seasons. When fully fit, his influence on Barcelona's play remained exceptional. At UEFA Euro 2024, he was a key contributor to Spain's tournament-winning campaign — the same campaign in which Lamine Yamal, seven years younger, scored what was arguably the tournament's defining goal.
