Astrian documents the sky above the birthplace at the moment of birth and records biographical facts that can be independently verified. This profile does not evaluate, endorse, or criticize the person's public record, political positions, or actions. It presents two sets of facts in parallel. Any connection between them is for the reader to judge.
The Sun stands at 22°55' Gemini in the tenth house. The third sign, associated in the astrological tradition with the rapid circulation of information, communication, and the capacity to occupy multiple positions without resolving them. The tenth house is the domain of public function and visible career — the Sun here places the chart's central body at the most publicly exposed point of the wheel.
The Moon stands at 21°12' Sagittarius in the fourth house, directly opposite the Sun across the horizon axis. June 14, 1946 was a full moon day. The Sun-Moon opposition falls within 1°44' of the exact aspect: this chart was born at near-maximum lunar illumination, the two luminaries in maximum mutual tension and visibility.
The Ascendant falls at 29°58' Leo, within 5 arc-minutes of the Virgo cusp — one of the latest Leo Ascendants possible. Mars stands at 26°46' Leo in the twelfth house, 3°08' from the Ascendant: a conjunction of the twelfth-house Mars to the Ascendant degree within the final degrees of Leo. The tradition places the twelfth house in the domain of what operates below the threshold of the public persona; Mars here is three degrees from crossing that threshold into the first.
Three planets cluster in Cancer in the eleventh house: Mercury at 8°51', Saturn at 23°48', and Venus at 25°44'. All three occupy the sign associated in the tradition with memory, security, family inheritance, and emotional responsiveness. Saturn at 23°48' Cancer is, in traditional terms, considered in its fall — the planet of structure placed in the sign the tradition most associates with fluid, affective responses to the environment.
Uranus at 17°53' Gemini conjuncts the Sun in the tenth house within 55' of arc — a tight conjunction between the chart's central solar body and the planet the tradition associates with disruption and sudden reordering of established systems. Jupiter at 17°27' Libra and Neptune at 5°50' Libra occupy the second house. Pluto at 10°02' Leo occupies the twelfth house.
Donald Trump was born during Pluto's transit through Leo, which lasted from approximately 1939 to 1957. This is the generational signature of those born in the immediate postwar years: a cohort that reached adulthood during the 1960s and shaped the cultural and political landscape of the final decades of the twentieth century. Others born under this signature include Bill Clinton (1946), George W. Bush (1946), George Lucas (1944), Steven Spielberg (1946), and Sylvester Stallone (1946).
In the astrological tradition, Leo is associated with individual authority, the principle of personal sovereignty, and the performer-audience axis. Pluto transiting Leo is read as generational pressure applied to those structures — the question of concentrated personal authority and its legitimacy becomes, across this transit, a collective preoccupation of the birth cohort. The generation born under Pluto in Leo came of age precisely when the postwar institutions of authority were being challenged from multiple directions. The reading is symbolic and correlative, not causal.
Trump's Pluto at 10°02' Leo occupies the twelfth house, a placement that the tradition locates generational pressure in the domain of what is concealed or operates beneath public acknowledgment. ---

The following describes what classical astrological tradition associates with these configurations. Astrian does not apply these descriptions to the person's biography.
The full-moon opposition is the chart's most geometrically dominant feature. Sun at 22°55' Gemini opposes Moon at 21°12' Sagittarius within 1°44': the two luminaries at maximum separation. Gemini and Sagittarius are the axis of information and meaning — the short-range and long-range, the particular fact and the governing principle, the immediate communication and the overarching narrative. In the astrological tradition, the full moon marks the chart's central luminaries in their state of maximum tension and maximum mutual illumination.
The Sun-Uranus conjunction in Gemini, within 55', places Uranus — the tradition's planet of disruption, rapid reordering, and the overturning of inherited structures — in close contact with the Sun at the chart's most publicly exposed house. The tradition reads this configuration as one that amplifies the individual's capacity to disturb the field in which they operate.
Mars at 26°46' Leo, 3°08' from the Ascendant and technically within the twelfth house, carries the tradition's most layered reading. The Ascendant is the chart's threshold between interior and exterior — between the hidden and the visible. Mars this close to that threshold, but on the interior side, introduces the tradition's principle of action and assertion into the domain the tradition associates with what operates below the surface of the public persona.
The Cancer stellium in the eleventh house distributes Mercury, Saturn, and Venus through the sign the tradition associates with the domestic sphere, inherited environment, and emotional memory. Saturn in Cancer is, in the tradition, in its fall: the planet of abstract structure placed in the sign of the affective bond.

Born at Jamaica Hospital in Queens, New York, the fourth of five children of Fred Trump, a real estate developer who built and managed middle-class rental housing across Brooklyn and Queens, and Mary Anne MacLeod, an immigrant from the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. Fred Trump operated through a company variously called Trump Management and, later, the Trump Organization; his federal Housing Authority contracts during the postwar decades made him one of the largest residential landlords in the outer boroughs.
Donald Trump attended the New York Military Academy from age thirteen and spent two years at Fordham University before transferring to the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He received a bachelor's degree in economics in 1968 and joined the family business the following year. In 1971 he took control of the company from his father and renamed it the Trump Organization.
Over the following two decades he expanded its operations into Manhattan commercial real estate, Atlantic City casino hotels, and luxury resort properties. The most prominent projects of this period include Trump Tower (1983) on Fifth Avenue, the renovation of the Commodore Hotel into the Grand Hyatt New York (1980), and three Atlantic City casino properties including the Trump Taj Mahal (1990). A financial crisis in 1990–1991 led to restructured debt arrangements and the bankruptcy of several casino holding companies between 1991 and 2009. The Wall Street Journal and Forbes estimated his personal net worth during this period varied widely with the real estate and casino cycles.
From 2004 to 2015 he hosted The Apprentice and its spin-off The Celebrity Apprentice on NBC, a business-themed reality competition that at its peak attracted an audience of approximately 20 million viewers per episode.
In June 2015, Trump announced his candidacy for the Republican presidential nomination. He secured the nomination in July 2016 and defeated Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in the general election on November 8, 2016, winning 306 electoral votes to 232 with 46.1% of the popular vote. He was inaugurated as the 45th President on January 20, 2017.
His first term included the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement and the Trans-Pacific Partnership, appointment of three Supreme Court justices (Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, Amy Coney Barrett), tariffs on Chinese goods beginning in 2018, and the Abraham Accords normalizing relations between Israel and four Arab states in 2020. He was impeached by the House of Representatives in December 2019 on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress; the Senate acquitted him in February 2020.

In the 2020 election Trump received 74.2 million votes — the largest popular vote total for any losing presidential candidate in United States history — but lost to Joe Biden, who received 81.3 million votes and 306 electoral votes. Trump and his allies contested the results in 62 court cases. On January 6, 2021, a crowd that had gathered near the White House after a rally assaulted the United States Capitol, disrupting the certification of the electoral vote for approximately seven hours. Trump was impeached a second time, on January 13, 2021, on a charge of incitement of insurrection; the Senate voted 57 to 43 to convict, short of the two-thirds majority required for removal.
In November 2022 Trump announced a campaign for the 2024 presidential election. During the campaign he faced four criminal indictments: two federal charges (mishandling classified documents; alleged conspiracy to obstruct the 2020 election) and two state charges (Georgia; New York). A New York state jury returned 34 felony convictions on May 30, 2024. On November 5, 2024, he defeated Democratic nominee Kamala Harris with 312 electoral votes. He was inaugurated as the 47th President on January 20, 2025, becoming the only person in United States history to serve two non-consecutive terms since Grover Cleveland. ---
