About this chart

No birth time is documented for this person. The chart therefore shows planetary positions in their signs, the slow aspects between them, and the generational context — but not house placements, the Ascendant, or the Midheaven, which require an accurate birth time. The Moon's sign carries a ±6° margin: if it falls near a sign boundary, the sign could vary. Positions for all other planets are reliable.

The sky at birth

No birth time is documented for Hulk Hogan. The Ascendant, the Midheaven, and the house positions cannot be determined; the reading is confined to planetary sign placements and the aspects between planets. The positions below are calculated for noon local time and are accurate to a fraction of a degree for the slow-moving bodies.

The Moon is near 10°40' Virgo (noon position, ±7° margin). Sun is at 18°40' Leo. Mercury is at 0°03' Leo. Venus is at 8°38' Cancer. Mars is at 8°17' Leo. Jupiter is at 20°23' Gemini. Saturn is at 22°26' Libra. Uranus is at 20°36' Cancer. Neptune is at 21°31' Libra. Pluto is at 22°47' Leo.

4 bodies occupy Leo (Sun, Mercury, Mars and Pluto) — a concentration that stands out as a structural feature of the chart.

The tightest major aspects between planets: Saturn sextile Pluto (0°20'); Uranus square Neptune (0°55'); Saturn conjunct Neptune (0°55'); Jupiter trine Neptune (1°08'); Neptune sextile Pluto (1°16'); Sun sextile Jupiter (1°43').

Uranus square Neptune (0°55') is structural but generational — an alignment of slow-moving outer planets shared across many birth years.

The engine also registers tight minor aspects involving asteroids and calculated points: Mars semi-sextile Juno (0°03'); Pallas sesquiquadrate Vesta (0°04'); Venus conjunct Juno (0°19'); Venus conjunct Pallas (0°31'). These are reported for completeness and carry less weight in traditional reading.

The chart was calculated using NASA JPL DE441 ephemerides, sub-arcsecond precision.

Astronomical context

Pluto moved through Leo from the late 1930s to the late 1950s. In astrological tradition this transit is associated with the collective transformation of self-expression, authority, and the cult of the individual — the cohort that rebuilt the post-war world and expanded mass culture.

Hulk Hogan (born 1953) belongs to this generational configuration. Astrian groups profiles by such shared signatures rather than by any claim of shared destiny. Related profiles in Astrian: Triple H · Ronda Rousey · George Foreman. The symbolic reading is correlative, not causal.

Symbolic reading

The following describes what classical astrological tradition associates with these configurations. Astrian does not apply these descriptions to the person's biography.

The Sun in Leo is the most prominent structural feature available without a birth time, centring the chart on expression, pride, and the creative self. There is no Ascendant or Midheaven to anchor the angles, so the reading rests on sign placements and the aspects between planets rather than on houses.

Among the personal planets, the Moon in Virgo is associated in tradition with analysis, craft, and the refinement of method (the Moon's sign is given for the noon chart and may shift with an exact time); Mercury in Leo with expression, pride, and the creative self; Venus in Cancer with attachment, memory, and protection; and Mars in Leo with expression, pride, and the creative self. These placements describe registers of feeling, thought, attraction, and action as the tradition catalogues them, independent of the life that follows.

Saturn sextile Pluto (0°20'): tradition reads structure, limitation, and discipline in supportive contact with depth, power, and transformation.

Uranus square Neptune (0°55'): tradition reads disruption and innovation in friction with dissolution, imagination, and idealism.

Saturn conjunct Neptune (0°55'): tradition reads structure, limitation, and discipline fused with dissolution, imagination, and idealism.

Jupiter trine Neptune (1°08'): tradition reads expansion and meaning in easy flow with dissolution, imagination, and idealism.

These placements are presented as a symbolic portrait, correlative and never causal — a description within the tradition's vocabulary, not an explanation of the life that follows.

Astrology is a symbolic language with 2,500 years of literature. The reading above is interpretive, not explanatory.

Astrian does not claim that the natal chart of Hulk Hogan caused or determined any of the above. Astrology is a symbolic system with 2,500 years of literature. Its capacity for retrospective description does not imply explanatory capacity.

A parallel life

The following are verified biographical facts. No connection to the natal chart is implied.

Terry Gene Bollea was born on August 11, 1953, in Augusta, Georgia, and grew up in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. He developed an interest in bodybuilding and music as a young man, playing bass guitar in local bands before pursuing professional wrestling. He began training in wrestling in Tampa in the early 1970s and made his professional debut under various ring names before settling on Hulk Hogan in the early 1980s.

Hogan joined the World Wrestling Federation in 1983 and quickly became the promotion's defining star. His victory over the Iron Sheik for the WWF Championship in January 1984 at Madison Square Garden is widely cited as a turning point in professional wrestling's mainstream expansion in the United States. He held the WWF Championship multiple times throughout the 1980s and was the headliner of the first four WrestleMania events, which became the flagship pay-per-view spectacle of the industry.

In 1994, Hogan joined World Championship Wrestling and underwent a significant character transformation in 1996, turning villainous as the leader of the New World Order faction alongside Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. The nWo storyline became one of the most commercially successful angles in professional wrestling history and helped WCW briefly overtake WWF in television ratings during the late 1990s.

Hogan returned to WWF, rebranded as WWE, in 2002 and made several additional appearances over subsequent years. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005 and again in 2020 as part of the nWo. His career encompassed six WWF or WWE Championship reigns and six WCW Championship reigns, along with a presence in film, television, and commercial advertising that made him one of the most recognizable athletes of the twentieth century.

Hulk Hogan passed away on July 24, 2025, from natural causes. He was 71 years old. His influence on professional wrestling as a form of entertainment and on the broader popular culture of the 1980s was widely acknowledged at the time of his death.
