About this chart
No birth time is documented for this person. The chart therefore shows planetary positions in their signs, the slow aspects between them, and the generational context — but not house placements, the Ascendant, or the Midheaven, which require an accurate birth time. The Moon's sign carries a ±6° margin: if it falls near a sign boundary, the sign could vary. Positions for all other planets are reliable.

The sky at birth
No birth time is documented for Anderson Silva. The Ascendant, the Midheaven, and the house positions cannot be determined; the reading is confined to planetary sign placements and the aspects between planets. The positions below are calculated for noon local time and are accurate to a fraction of a degree for the slow-moving bodies. One caveat: the Moon lies near a sign boundary, so without an exact time it cannot be fixed to a single sign — it sits close to 27°44' Taurus within a daily margin of about ±7°.
The Moon is near 27°44' Taurus (noon position, ±7° margin). Sun is at 24°02' Aries. Mercury is at 19°23' Aries. Venus is at 0°48' Gemini. Mars is at 2°09' Pisces. Jupiter is at 6°28' Aries. Saturn is at 12°50' Cancer. Uranus is at 0°43' Scorpio, retrograde. Neptune is at 11°32' Sagittarius, retrograde. Pluto is at 7°26' Libra, retrograde.
3 bodies occupy Aries (Sun, Mercury and Jupiter) — a concentration that stands out as a structural feature of the chart.
The tightest major aspects between planets: Jupiter opposite Pluto (0°58'); Venus square Mars (1°20'); Mars trine Uranus (1°25'); Moon conjunct Venus (3°04'); Neptune sextile Pluto (4°05'); Moon square Mars (4°24').
Neptune sextile Pluto (4°05') is structural but generational — an alignment of slow-moving outer planets shared across many birth years.
The engine also registers tight minor aspects involving asteroids and calculated points: Sun conjunct Chiron (0°04'); Pluto quincunx Lilith (0°10'); Venus square Vesta (0°30'); Pallas sextile Juno (0°31'). These are reported for completeness and carry less weight in traditional reading.
The chart was calculated using NASA JPL DE441 ephemerides, sub-arcsecond precision.

Astronomical context
Pluto travelled through Libra from 1971 to 1984. In astrological tradition this transit is associated with the transformation of relationships, partnership, and the idea of balance — the cohort that redrew norms around marriage, equality, and the terms of personal alliance.
Anderson Silva (born 1975) belongs to this generational configuration. Astrian groups profiles by such shared signatures rather than by any claim of shared destiny. Related profiles in Astrian: Ronda Rousey · Triple H · Hulk Hogan. The symbolic reading is correlative, not causal.

Symbolic reading
The following describes what classical astrological tradition associates with these configurations. Astrian does not apply these descriptions to the person's biography.
The Sun in Aries is the most prominent structural feature available without a birth time, centring the chart on initiative, directness, and the will to begin. There is no Ascendant or Midheaven to anchor the angles, so the reading rests on sign placements and the aspects between planets rather than on houses.
Among the personal planets, the Moon in Taurus is associated in tradition with stability, persistence, and the tangible (the Moon's sign is given for the noon chart and may shift with an exact time); Mercury in Aries with initiative, directness, and the will to begin; Venus in Gemini with curiosity, exchange, and versatility; and Mars in Pisces with imagination, dissolution, and empathy. These placements describe registers of feeling, thought, attraction, and action as the tradition catalogues them, independent of the life that follows.
Jupiter opposite Pluto (0°58'): tradition reads expansion and meaning set in polarity with depth, power, and transformation.
Venus square Mars (1°20'): tradition reads values, attraction, and harmony in friction with drive, assertion, and action.
Mars trine Uranus (1°25'): tradition reads drive, assertion, and action in easy flow with disruption and innovation.
Moon conjunct Venus (3°04'): tradition reads emotional life and instinct fused with values, attraction, and harmony.
These placements are presented as a symbolic portrait, correlative and never causal — a description within the tradition's vocabulary, not an explanation of the life that follows.
Astrology is a symbolic language with 2,500 years of literature. The reading above is interpretive, not explanatory.
Astrian does not claim that the natal chart of Anderson Silva caused or determined any of the above. Astrology is a symbolic system with 2,500 years of literature. Its capacity for retrospective description does not imply explanatory capacity.
A parallel life
The following are verified biographical facts. No connection to the natal chart is implied.
Anderson da Silva was born on April 14, 1975, in São Paulo, Brazil. He grew up in Curitiba, Paraná, in modest circumstances, and began training in martial arts as a teenager. He trained in multiple disciplines including Muay Thai, capoeira, judo, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, building a versatile fighting base. He began his professional mixed martial arts career in Brazil in the late 1990s before competing in organizations in Japan and Korea.
Silva fought in several prominent promotions, including Cage Rage and Pride Fighting Championships, before signing with the UFC in 2006. He made his UFC debut in June 2006 and defeated Chris Leben by technical knockout. Shortly after, he challenged Rich Franklin for the UFC Middleweight Championship and won the title by TKO in the first round. This marked the beginning of one of the most dominant title reigns in combat sports history.
Over the following seven years, Silva successfully defended the middleweight title ten times. He was known for his striking precision, timing, and an unorthodox style that included deliberate head movement and control of distance. Memorable performances included victories over Dan Henderson, Forrest Griffin, Vitor Belfort, and Chael Sonnen, the latter twice. His performance against Forrest Griffin in 2009 in particular attracted widespread attention for the manner in which he appeared to operate at a different level from his opponents.
Silva's title reign ended in December 2013 when he was knocked out by Chris Weidman. A rematch followed in 2013, and Weidman retained the title after Silva suffered a serious leg fracture. Silva continued to compete in subsequent years but did not recapture the championship. He also competed in boxing matches after his MMA career wound down, including a bout against former champion Oscar De La Hoya in 2021.
Silva was widely regarded by analysts and fellow fighters as one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time during his prime years. He holds the record for the longest title reign in UFC history across all weight classes.
