The sky at birth
With a documented birth time, the full chart can be cast. The Ascendant falls at 0°53' Aquarius and the Midheaven at 12°21' Sagittarius, which fixes the angular framework and allows the planets to be placed in houses.
Sun is at 16°09' Gemini, house 4. Moon is at 19°22' Taurus, house 2. Mercury is at 0°14' Gemini, house 3, retrograde. Venus is at 8°15' Cancer, house 5, retrograde. Mars is at 1°59' Pisces, house 1. Jupiter is at 25°04' Leo, house 7. Saturn is at 28°15' Scorpio, house 9, retrograde. Uranus is at 29°50' Cancer, house 6. Neptune is at 27°54' Libra, house 8, retrograde. Pluto is at 26°19' Leo, house 7.
The tightest major aspects between planets: Mercury sextile Uranus (0°23'); Jupiter conjunct Pluto (1°14'); Saturn trine Uranus (1°35'); Neptune sextile Pluto (1°36'); Mercury square Mars (1°45'); Uranus square Neptune (1°56').
Neptune sextile Pluto (1°36') is structural but generational — an alignment of slow-moving outer planets shared across many birth years.
The engine also registers tight minor aspects involving asteroids and calculated points: Saturn semi-sextile Vesta (0°10'); Neptune conjunct Vesta (0°11'); Juno conjunct Lilith (0°21'); Pallas semi-square Lilith (0°27'). These are reported for completeness and carry less weight in traditional reading.
The chart was calculated using NASA JPL DE441 ephemerides, sub-arcsecond precision.

Astronomical context
Pluto moved through Leo from the late 1930s to the late 1950s. In astrological tradition this transit is associated with the collective transformation of self-expression, authority, and the cult of the individual — the cohort that rebuilt the post-war world and expanded mass culture.
Björn Borg (born 1956) belongs to this generational configuration. Astrian groups profiles by such shared signatures rather than by any claim of shared destiny. Related profiles in Astrian: John McEnroe · Billie Jean King · Andre Agassi. The symbolic reading is correlative, not causal.

Symbolic reading
The following describes what classical astrological tradition associates with these configurations. Astrian does not apply these descriptions to the person's biography.
The Sun in Gemini centres the chart on curiosity, exchange, and versatility. With the Ascendant in Aquarius, tradition adds independence, abstraction, and the collective as the threshold through which that energy meets the world; the Sun marks the central drive, the Ascendant the manner of approach.
Among the personal planets, the Moon in Taurus is associated in tradition with stability, persistence, and the tangible; Mercury in Gemini with curiosity, exchange, and versatility; Venus in Cancer with attachment, memory, and protection; and Mars in Pisces with imagination, dissolution, and empathy. These placements describe registers of feeling, thought, attraction, and action as the tradition catalogues them, independent of the life that follows.
Mercury sextile Uranus (0°23'): tradition reads thought and communication in supportive contact with disruption and innovation.
Jupiter conjunct Pluto (1°14'): tradition reads expansion and meaning fused with depth, power, and transformation.
Saturn trine Uranus (1°35'): tradition reads structure, limitation, and discipline in easy flow with disruption and innovation.
Neptune sextile Pluto (1°36'): tradition reads dissolution, imagination, and idealism in supportive contact with depth, power, and transformation.
These placements are presented as a symbolic portrait, correlative and never causal — a description within the tradition's vocabulary, not an explanation of the life that follows.
Astrology is a symbolic language with 2,500 years of literature. The reading above is interpretive, not explanatory.
Astrian does not claim that the natal chart of Björn Borg caused or determined any of the above. Astrology is a symbolic system with 2,500 years of literature. Its capacity for retrospective description does not imply explanatory capacity.
A parallel life
The following are verified biographical facts. No connection to the natal chart is implied.
Björn Rune Borg was born on 6 June 1956 in Stockholm, Sweden. He took up tennis as a child and rose quickly, turning professional as a teenager and becoming a sensation for his composed temperament, distinctive two-handed backhand, and remarkable physical conditioning.
He became the dominant player of the late 1970s, winning eleven Grand Slam singles titles, including a then-record run of consecutive Wimbledon championships and multiple French Open titles, a rare mastery of both grass and clay. He reached the world No. 1 ranking and, with his cool on-court demeanour and global popularity, helped drive a surge of interest in tennis during the era.
His rivalry with John McEnroe, including a celebrated Wimbledon final, became one of the defining contrasts in the sport, between his calm and McEnroe's volatility. He also drew enormous public attention and a level of fame unusual for the sport at the time.
He retired from competitive tennis at an unusually young age, a decision that surprised the sporting world, and his later life included business ventures and a brief, largely unsuccessful comeback attempt.
Borg is remembered as one of the greatest players in the history of tennis, his dominance across surfaces and his early retirement together forming one of the sport's most distinctive careers.
