About this chart

No birth time is documented for this person. The chart therefore shows planetary positions in their signs, the slow aspects between them, and the generational context — but not house placements, the Ascendant, or the Midheaven, which require an accurate birth time. The Moon's sign carries a ±6° margin: if it falls near a sign boundary, the sign could vary. Positions for all other planets are reliable.

The sky at birth

No birth time is documented for David Villa. The Ascendant, the Midheaven, and the house positions cannot be determined; the reading is confined to planetary sign placements and the aspects between planets. The positions below are calculated for noon local time and are accurate to a fraction of a degree for the slow-moving bodies. One caveat: the Moon lies near a sign boundary, so without an exact time it cannot be fixed to a single sign — it sits close to 26°41' Aquarius within a daily margin of about ±7°.

The Moon is near 26°41' Aquarius (noon position, ±7° margin). Sun is at 11°12' Sagittarius. Mercury is at 7°13' Sagittarius. Venus is at 26°01' Capricorn. Mars is at 23°51' Virgo. Jupiter is at 1°13' Scorpio. Saturn is at 19°22' Libra. Uranus is at 1°02' Sagittarius. Neptune is at 24°04' Sagittarius. Pluto is at 25°59' Libra.

4 bodies occupy Sagittarius (Sun, Mercury, Uranus and Neptune) — a concentration that stands out as a structural feature of the chart.

The tightest major aspects between planets: Venus square Pluto (0°01'); Mars square Neptune (0°13'); Moon trine Pluto (0°41'); Neptune sextile Pluto (1°55'); Venus trine Mars (2°09'); Moon sextile Neptune (2°37').

Neptune sextile Pluto (1°55') is structural but generational — an alignment of slow-moving outer planets shared across many birth years.

The engine also registers tight minor aspects involving asteroids and calculated points: Saturn quincunx Chiron (0°02'); Saturn semi-square Juno (0°04'); Mercury conjunct Lilith (0°32'); Neptune quincunx North Node (0°37'). These are reported for completeness and carry less weight in traditional reading.

The chart was calculated using NASA JPL DE441 ephemerides, sub-arcsecond precision.

Astronomical context

Pluto travelled through Libra from 1971 to 1984. In astrological tradition this transit is associated with the transformation of relationships, partnership, and the idea of balance — the cohort that redrew norms around marriage, equality, and the terms of personal alliance.

David Villa (born 1981) belongs to this generational configuration. Astrian groups profiles by such shared signatures rather than by any claim of shared destiny. Related profiles in Astrian: Sergio Busquets · Samuel Eto'o · Didier Drogba. The symbolic reading is correlative, not causal.

Symbolic reading

The following describes what classical astrological tradition associates with these configurations. Astrian does not apply these descriptions to the person's biography.

The Sun in Sagittarius is the most prominent structural feature available without a birth time, centring the chart on expansion, conviction, and the horizon. There is no Ascendant or Midheaven to anchor the angles, so the reading rests on sign placements and the aspects between planets rather than on houses.

Among the personal planets, the Moon in Aquarius is associated in tradition with independence, abstraction, and the collective (the Moon's sign is given for the noon chart and may shift with an exact time); Mercury in Sagittarius with expansion, conviction, and the horizon; Venus in Capricorn with ambition, structure, and the long view; and Mars in Virgo with analysis, craft, and the refinement of method. These placements describe registers of feeling, thought, attraction, and action as the tradition catalogues them, independent of the life that follows.

Venus square Pluto (0°01'): tradition reads values, attraction, and harmony in friction with depth, power, and transformation.

Mars square Neptune (0°13'): tradition reads drive, assertion, and action in friction with dissolution, imagination, and idealism.

Moon trine Pluto (0°41'): tradition reads emotional life and instinct in easy flow with depth, power, and transformation.

Neptune sextile Pluto (1°55'): tradition reads dissolution, imagination, and idealism in supportive contact with depth, power, and transformation.

These placements are presented as a symbolic portrait, correlative and never causal — a description within the tradition's vocabulary, not an explanation of the life that follows.

Astrology is a symbolic language with 2,500 years of literature. The reading above is interpretive, not explanatory.

Astrian does not claim that the natal chart of David Villa caused or determined any of the above. Astrology is a symbolic system with 2,500 years of literature. Its capacity for retrospective description does not imply explanatory capacity.

A parallel life

The following are verified biographical facts. No connection to the natal chart is implied.

David Villa Sánchez was born on 3 December 1981 in Tuilla, a parish of Langreo in the Asturias region of northern Spain. He overcame a serious leg fracture in childhood to develop as a footballer, rising through Sporting Gijón and Real Zaragoza before establishing himself as one of the leading strikers in Spain with Valencia.

He became known for his sharp finishing, movement, and ability to play across the forward line, and in 2010 he joined FC Barcelona, where he won La Liga and the UEFA Champions League as part of a celebrated team. He later played for Atlético Madrid and in leagues in the United States, Australia, and Japan.

With the Spain national team he was a central figure during the country's most successful era, finishing as a leading scorer at the 2010 World Cup, which Spain won, and contributing to the victory at the 2008 European Championship. He became Spain's all-time leading goalscorer, a record that stood for many years.

After retiring he moved into football ownership and development projects.

Villa is remembered as one of the finest strikers of his generation and the most prolific goalscorer in the history of the Spanish national team, central to its golden era.
