About this chart
No birth time is documented for this person. The chart therefore shows planetary positions in their signs, the slow aspects between them, and the generational context — but not house placements, the Ascendant, or the Midheaven, which require an accurate birth time. The Moon's sign carries a ±6° margin: if it falls near a sign boundary, the sign could vary. Positions for all other planets are reliable.

The sky at birth
No birth time is documented for Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Ascendant, the Midheaven, and the house positions cannot be determined; the reading is confined to planetary sign placements and the aspects between planets. The positions below are calculated for noon local time and are accurate to a fraction of a degree for the slow-moving bodies. One caveat: the Moon lies near a sign boundary, so without an exact time it cannot be fixed to a single sign — it sits close to 1°16' Aquarius within a daily margin of about ±7°.
The Moon is near 1°16' Aquarius (noon position, ±7° margin). Sun is at 14°03' Sagittarius. Mercury is at 9°46' Sagittarius. Venus is at 5°29' Scorpio. Mars is at 28°25' Leo. Jupiter is at 29°20' Scorpio. Saturn is at 6°18' Pisces. Uranus is at 24°06' Capricorn. Neptune is at 21°40' Capricorn. Pluto is at 28°36' Scorpio.
3 bodies occupy Scorpio (Venus, Jupiter and Pluto) — a concentration that stands out as a structural feature of the chart.
The tightest major aspects between planets: Mars square Pluto (0°11'); Jupiter conjunct Pluto (0°44'); Venus trine Saturn (0°49'); Mars square Jupiter (0°55'); Moon sextile Jupiter (1°56'); Uranus conjunct Neptune (2°25').
Uranus conjunct Neptune (2°25') is structural but generational — an alignment of slow-moving outer planets shared across many birth years.
The engine also registers tight minor aspects involving asteroids and calculated points: Pallas sextile Vesta (0°16'); Moon sextile Juno (0°53'); Sun semi-sextile North Node (0°56'); Uranus trine Chiron (1°09'). These are reported for completeness and carry less weight in traditional reading.
The chart was calculated using NASA JPL DE441 ephemerides, sub-arcsecond precision.

Astronomical context
Pluto moved through its own sign, Scorpio, from 1983 to 1995. In astrological tradition Pluto in Scorpio is read as an intensification of themes of power, depth, crisis, and regeneration — the generation that grew up amid the digital turn and a transformed relationship to risk.
Giannis Antetokounmpo (born 1994) belongs to this generational configuration. Astrian groups profiles by such shared signatures rather than by any claim of shared destiny. Related profiles in Astrian: LeBron James · Nikola Jokić · Kevin Durant. The symbolic reading is correlative, not causal.

Symbolic reading
The following describes what classical astrological tradition associates with these configurations. Astrian does not apply these descriptions to the person's biography.
The Sun in Sagittarius is the most prominent structural feature available without a birth time, centring the chart on expansion, conviction, and the horizon. There is no Ascendant or Midheaven to anchor the angles, so the reading rests on sign placements and the aspects between planets rather than on houses.
Among the personal planets, the Moon in Aquarius is associated in tradition with independence, abstraction, and the collective (the Moon's sign is given for the noon chart and may shift with an exact time); Mercury in Sagittarius with expansion, conviction, and the horizon; Venus in Scorpio with intensity, depth, and the will to transform; and Mars in Leo with expression, pride, and the creative self. These placements describe registers of feeling, thought, attraction, and action as the tradition catalogues them, independent of the life that follows.
Mars square Pluto (0°11'): tradition reads drive, assertion, and action in friction with depth, power, and transformation.
Jupiter conjunct Pluto (0°44'): tradition reads expansion and meaning fused with depth, power, and transformation.
Venus trine Saturn (0°49'): tradition reads values, attraction, and harmony in easy flow with structure, limitation, and discipline.
Mars square Jupiter (0°55'): tradition reads drive, assertion, and action in friction with expansion and meaning.
These placements are presented as a symbolic portrait, correlative and never causal — a description within the tradition's vocabulary, not an explanation of the life that follows.
Astrology is a symbolic language with 2,500 years of literature. The reading above is interpretive, not explanatory.
Astrian does not claim that the natal chart of Giannis Antetokounmpo caused or determined any of the above. Astrology is a symbolic system with 2,500 years of literature. Its capacity for retrospective description does not imply explanatory capacity.
A parallel life
The following are verified biographical facts. No connection to the natal chart is implied.
Giannis Sina Ugo Antetokounmpo was born on 6 December 1994 in Athens, Greece, to Nigerian immigrant parents. He grew up in the city in difficult economic circumstances, at times helping his family by selling goods on the street, and for years he and his siblings lived without full Greek documentation despite being born and raised in the country.
He took up basketball relatively late and developed rapidly through Greek youth and lower-division basketball, drawing the attention of NBA scouts as a raw but exceptionally promising talent. He was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks, where he would spend his career and grow from a developmental prospect into one of the best players in the world.
Nicknamed "the Greek Freak" for his combination of size, length, speed, and agility, he developed into a dominant two-way forward. He was named the NBA's Most Valuable Player twice and, in 2021, led the Milwaukee Bucks to the NBA championship, delivering a celebrated performance in the deciding game of the Finals.
He also represented Greece in international competition and became a national sporting hero, while several of his brothers also pursued professional basketball careers, making the Antetokounmpo family a notable presence in the sport.
Giannis is regarded as one of the defining players of his generation, his rise from a difficult childhood in Athens to the summit of the NBA forming one of the most striking personal stories in contemporary basketball.
