About this chart

No birth time is documented for this person. The chart therefore shows planetary positions in their signs, the slow aspects between them, and the generational context — but not house placements, the Ascendant, or the Midheaven, which require an accurate birth time. The Moon's sign carries a ±6° margin: if it falls near a sign boundary, the sign could vary. Positions for all other planets are reliable.

The sky at birth

No birth time is documented for Marc Márquez. The Ascendant, the Midheaven, and the house positions cannot be determined; the reading is confined to planetary sign placements and the aspects between planets. The positions below are calculated for noon local time and are accurate to a fraction of a degree for the slow-moving bodies.

The Moon is near 13°44' Capricorn (noon position, ±7° margin). Sun is at 28°47' Aquarius. Mercury is at 16°05' Pisces. Venus is at 11°49' Aries. Mars is at 8°42' Cancer. Jupiter is at 14°06' Libra, retrograde. Saturn is at 21°52' Aquarius. Uranus is at 20°21' Capricorn. Neptune is at 20°04' Capricorn. Pluto is at 25°29' Scorpio.

3 bodies occupy Capricorn (Moon, Uranus and Neptune) — a concentration that stands out as a structural feature of the chart.

The tightest major aspects between planets: Uranus conjunct Neptune (0°17'); Moon square Jupiter (0°22'); Moon square Venus (1°55'); Venus opposite Jupiter (2°17'); Moon sextile Mercury (2°22'); Venus square Mars (3°07').

Uranus conjunct Neptune (0°17') is structural but generational — an alignment of slow-moving outer planets shared across many birth years.

The engine also registers tight minor aspects involving asteroids and calculated points: Moon sextile Lilith (0°06'); Mars trine Ceres (0°12'); Neptune quincunx Chiron (0°15'); Jupiter quincunx Lilith (0°16'). These are reported for completeness and carry less weight in traditional reading.

The chart was calculated using NASA JPL DE441 ephemerides, sub-arcsecond precision.

Astronomical context

Pluto moved through its own sign, Scorpio, from 1983 to 1995. In astrological tradition Pluto in Scorpio is read as an intensification of themes of power, depth, crisis, and regeneration — the generation that grew up amid the digital turn and a transformed relationship to risk.

Marc Márquez (born 1993) belongs to this generational configuration. Astrian groups profiles by such shared signatures rather than by any claim of shared destiny. Related profiles in Astrian: Fernando Alonso · Max Verstappen · Lewis Hamilton. The symbolic reading is correlative, not causal.

Symbolic reading

The following describes what classical astrological tradition associates with these configurations. Astrian does not apply these descriptions to the person's biography.

The Sun in Aquarius is the most prominent structural feature available without a birth time, centring the chart on independence, abstraction, and the collective. There is no Ascendant or Midheaven to anchor the angles, so the reading rests on sign placements and the aspects between planets rather than on houses.

Among the personal planets, the Moon in Capricorn is associated in tradition with ambition, structure, and the long view (the Moon's sign is given for the noon chart and may shift with an exact time); Mercury in Pisces with imagination, dissolution, and empathy; Venus in Aries with initiative, directness, and the will to begin; and Mars in Cancer with attachment, memory, and protection. These placements describe registers of feeling, thought, attraction, and action as the tradition catalogues them, independent of the life that follows.

Uranus conjunct Neptune (0°17'): tradition reads disruption and innovation fused with dissolution, imagination, and idealism.

Moon square Jupiter (0°22'): tradition reads emotional life and instinct in friction with expansion and meaning.

Moon square Venus (1°55'): tradition reads emotional life and instinct in friction with values, attraction, and harmony.

Venus opposite Jupiter (2°17'): tradition reads values, attraction, and harmony set in polarity with expansion and meaning.

These placements are presented as a symbolic portrait, correlative and never causal — a description within the tradition's vocabulary, not an explanation of the life that follows.

Astrology is a symbolic language with 2,500 years of literature. The reading above is interpretive, not explanatory.

Astrian does not claim that the natal chart of Marc Márquez caused or determined any of the above. Astrology is a symbolic system with 2,500 years of literature. Its capacity for retrospective description does not imply explanatory capacity.

A parallel life

The following are verified biographical facts. No connection to the natal chart is implied.

Marc Márquez Alentà was born on 17 February 1993 in Cervera, in the province of Lleida, Catalonia, Spain. He began competitive motorcycle racing as a child and progressed through the junior categories of the sport, winning world titles in the smaller classes before moving up to the premier MotoGP category.

He made an immediate impact on his arrival in MotoGP in the early 2010s, winning the world championship in his debut season in the class, an exceptional achievement, and going on to win multiple further premier-class world titles over the following years. Riding for Honda for the core of his career, he became known for an aggressive, spectacular style, marked by extreme lean angles and frequent saves on the edge of control.

His career was significantly affected by a serious arm injury sustained in 2020, which required multiple operations and kept him out of competition for extended periods, interrupting a run of dominance. He later changed teams in search of a return to his best form, continuing to compete at the front of the championship.

He came from a racing family; his younger brother Álex Márquez also became a Grand Prix motorcycle racer, and the two competed in the premier class together.

Márquez is regarded as one of the greatest motorcycle racers of his generation, his combination of early dominance, distinctive riding style, and resilience through injury defining his standing in the sport.
