About this chart

No birth time is documented for this person. The chart therefore shows planetary positions in their signs, the slow aspects between them, and the generational context — but not house placements, the Ascendant, or the Midheaven, which require an accurate birth time. The Moon's sign carries a ±6° margin: if it falls near a sign boundary, the sign could vary. Positions for all other planets are reliable.

The sky at birth

No birth time is documented for Mike Tyson. The Ascendant, the Midheaven, and the house positions cannot be determined; the reading is confined to planetary sign placements and the aspects between planets. The positions below are calculated for noon local time and are accurate to a fraction of a degree for the slow-moving bodies.

The Moon is near 12°51' Sagittarius (noon position, ±7° margin). Sun is at 8°24' Cancer. Mercury is at 4°07' Leo. Venus is at 4°55' Gemini. Mars is at 22°52' Gemini. Jupiter is at 11°58' Cancer. Saturn is at 29°35' Pisces. Uranus is at 16°06' Virgo. Neptune is at 19°39' Scorpio, retrograde. Pluto is at 16°06' Virgo.

The tightest major aspects between planets: Uranus conjunct Pluto (0°00'); Mercury sextile Venus (0°49'); Moon square Uranus (3°15'); Moon square Pluto (3°15'); Uranus sextile Neptune (3°33'); Neptune sextile Pluto (3°33').

Uranus conjunct Pluto (0°00') is structural but generational — an alignment of slow-moving outer planets shared across many birth years.

The engine also registers tight minor aspects involving asteroids and calculated points: Uranus quincunx Pallas (0°11'); Pluto quincunx Pallas (0°11'); Sun semi-sextile Vesta (0°12'); Mars semi-sextile North Node (0°13'). These are reported for completeness and carry less weight in traditional reading.

The chart was calculated using NASA JPL DE441 ephemerides, sub-arcsecond precision.

Astronomical context

Pluto crossed Virgo from the late 1950s to 1971. In astrological tradition the passage is linked to the transformation of work, health, technique, and systems of organization — the generation that came of age amid automation and the reorganization of labour.

Mike Tyson (born 1966) belongs to this generational configuration. Astrian groups profiles by such shared signatures rather than by any claim of shared destiny. Related profiles in Astrian: Muhammad Ali · Manny Pacquiao · Canelo Álvarez. The symbolic reading is correlative, not causal.

Symbolic reading

The following describes what classical astrological tradition associates with these configurations. Astrian does not apply these descriptions to the person's biography.

The Sun in Cancer is the most prominent structural feature available without a birth time, centring the chart on attachment, memory, and protection. There is no Ascendant or Midheaven to anchor the angles, so the reading rests on sign placements and the aspects between planets rather than on houses.

Among the personal planets, the Moon in Sagittarius is associated in tradition with expansion, conviction, and the horizon (the Moon's sign is given for the noon chart and may shift with an exact time); Mercury in Leo with expression, pride, and the creative self; Venus in Gemini with curiosity, exchange, and versatility; and Mars in Gemini with curiosity, exchange, and versatility. These placements describe registers of feeling, thought, attraction, and action as the tradition catalogues them, independent of the life that follows.

Uranus conjunct Pluto (0°00'): tradition reads disruption and innovation fused with depth, power, and transformation.

Mercury sextile Venus (0°49'): tradition reads thought and communication in supportive contact with values, attraction, and harmony.

Moon square Uranus (3°15'): tradition reads emotional life and instinct in friction with disruption and innovation.

Moon square Pluto (3°15'): tradition reads emotional life and instinct in friction with depth, power, and transformation.

These placements are presented as a symbolic portrait, correlative and never causal — a description within the tradition's vocabulary, not an explanation of the life that follows.

Astrology is a symbolic language with 2,500 years of literature. The reading above is interpretive, not explanatory.

Astrian does not claim that the natal chart of Mike Tyson caused or determined any of the above. Astrology is a symbolic system with 2,500 years of literature. Its capacity for retrospective description does not imply explanatory capacity.

A parallel life

The following are verified biographical facts. No connection to the natal chart is implied.

Michael Gerard Tyson was born on 30 June 1966 in the Brooklyn borough of New York City and grew up in difficult and often troubled circumstances. As a teenager he came under the guidance of the veteran trainer Cus D'Amato, who became his mentor and legal guardian and shaped his development into a boxer.

He rose rapidly through the professional ranks in the mid-1980s with a series of swift, powerful knockouts, and in 1986 he became the youngest boxer to win a world heavyweight title. He went on to unify the major heavyweight belts, becoming the undisputed champion, and for several years was regarded as one of the most fearsome punchers in the history of the division.

His career was marked by dramatic highs and lows. He suffered a celebrated upset defeat in 1990, and his life and career were repeatedly disrupted by legal and personal difficulties, including a criminal conviction in the early 1990s for which he served a prison sentence. His later career included a notorious disqualification in a rematch with Evander Holyfield.

After retiring from professional boxing he reinvented his public image, appearing in films and other media and undertaking exhibition bouts in later years, becoming a widely recognised cultural figure beyond the sport.

Tyson is remembered as one of the most explosive and controversial heavyweights in boxing history, a fighter whose peak dominance and turbulent career together defined one of the sport's most discussed figures.
