About this chart
No birth time is documented for this person. The chart therefore shows planetary positions in their signs, the slow aspects between them, and the generational context — but not house placements, the Ascendant, or the Midheaven, which require an accurate birth time. The Moon's sign carries a ±6° margin: if it falls near a sign boundary, the sign could vary. Positions for all other planets are reliable.

No birth time is documented for Bruno Mars. The Ascendant, Midheaven, and house positions cannot be determined. The planetary positions below are calculated for noon local time and are accurate to within a fraction of a degree for the slow-moving planets. The Moon's position carries a margin of approximately ±7°.
The Sun is at 15°33' Libra. The Moon is at 5°40' Leo (noon position, ±7° margin). Mercury is at 27°03' Libra. Venus is at 20°34' Virgo. Mars is at 18°14' Virgo. Jupiter is at 7°10' Aquarius. Saturn is at 25°37' Scorpio. Uranus is at 14°52' Sagittarius. Neptune is at 1°02' Capricorn. Pluto is at 3°54' Scorpio.
The chart's most prominent personal configuration is a Venus-Mars conjunction in Virgo. Venus at 20°34' Virgo conjoins Mars at 18°14' Virgo (2°20'). The Sun at 15°33' Libra forms a sextile with Uranus at 14°52' Sagittarius (0°40') — the tightest major aspect in the chart. Jupiter at 7°10' Aquarius squares Pluto at 3°54' Scorpio (3°16'). Neptune at 1°02' Capricorn sextiles Pluto (2°52').
The tightest major aspects between planets: Sun sextile Uranus (0°40'), Venus conjunction Mars (2°20'), Neptune sextile Pluto (2°52'), Jupiter square Pluto (3°16').
The engine also identifies the following tight minor aspects involving asteroids and calculated points: neptune sextile juno (0.04° sep); moon semi-square venus (0.10° sep); pluto semi-sextile vesta (0.15° sep); chiron semi-sextile lilith (0.15° app).
The chart was calculated by Astrian's engine using NASA JPL DE441 ephemerides, sub-arcsecond precision. Timezone: Hawaii Standard Time (Pacific/Honolulu, UTC −10).
Those born between approximately 1984 and 1995 carried Pluto in Scorpio. This generation arrived at the end of the Cold War, inheriting an era of accelerated information, digital emergence, the AIDS crisis, and the first wave of economic globalization. They grew up during the transition from analogue to digital and reached adulthood in a world reshaped by the internet, social media, and the 2008 financial crisis.
In astrological tradition, Pluto in Scorpio is associated with collective transformation of the domains that sign governs: sexuality, death and regeneration, shared resources, psychological depth, secrecy, and the exposure of hidden power structures. Scorpio is the sign of what lies beneath surfaces. Pluto's transit through its own modern domicile is read, symbolically, as a period of intensified collective encounter with themes of power, vulnerability, and transformation at the deepest register. The symbolic reading is correlative, not causal.
Others in the Astrian collection born under this configuration include Drake (1986), The Weeknd (1990), Rosalía (1992), and Bad Bunny (1994). Bruno Mars, born in 1985, belongs to the early years of this generational wave.

The following describes what classical astrological tradition associates with these configurations. Astrian does not apply these descriptions to the person's biography.
The Sun at 15°33' Libra is the most prominent structural feature of this chart. Without a documented birth time, there is no Ascendant or Midheaven — the reading is confined to planetary positions by sign and the aspects between planets.
The Moon at 5°40' Leo represents the noon position; the actual placement falls within approximately 7° on either side. If born early in the day, the Moon could be in the late twenties of Cancer; if born late, in the low double digits of Leo. The Moon's sign placement in Leo is probable for most of the day.
Mercury at 27°03' Libra, Venus at 20°34' Virgo, and Mars at 18°14' Virgo complete the personal planet picture.
### The Venus-Mars conjunction in Virgo
The chart's most distinctive personal configuration is a conjunction between Venus and Mars in Virgo. Venus at 20°34' Virgo conjoins Mars at 18°14' Virgo, orb 2°20'. Venus governs aesthetics, desire, the sense of beauty, and the presentation of the desirable. Mars governs action, drive, and the physical application of will. Their conjunction fuses the aesthetic and the kinetic into a single impulse — what is desired and what is pursued collapse into one gesture.
In Virgo — the sign of craft, precision, and the refinement of technique — this conjunction directs the fused aesthetic-kinetic impulse toward discipline and mastery of detail. The tradition reads Venus-Mars conjunctions as configurations of high creative and physical energy; in Virgo, the energy is channelled not toward grand spectacle for its own sake but toward the perfection of execution. The beauty is in the precision.
### Sun sextile Uranus
The Sun at 15°33' Libra forms a sextile with Uranus at 14°52' Sagittarius, orb 0°40' — the tightest major aspect in the chart. The Sun represents central identity and vitality. Uranus represents originality, disruption, and the refusal of convention. The sextile connects these registers in a cooperative, flowing relationship — identity draws naturally on a capacity for the unexpected, the inventive, and the stylistically unpredictable.
The following are verified biographical facts. No connection to the natal chart is implied.
Peter Gene Hernandez was born on 8 October 1985 in Honolulu, Hawaii, the fourth of six children. His father, Peter Hernandez, was a Latin percussionist from Brooklyn of Puerto Rican and Ashkenazi Jewish descent; his mother, Bernadette San Pedro Bayot, was a singer and dancer from the Philippines who had emigrated to Hawaii. The family performed together as a show band in Waikiki hotels and clubs. By the age of four, Peter was performing on stage, doing an Elvis Presley impersonation that earned him a local reputation and a cameo in the 1992 film Honeymoon in Vegas.
He grew up surrounded by music — doo-wop, reggae, rock and roll, R&B, and the Motown catalogue that his father revered. His parents separated when he was twelve. After graduating from President Theodore Roosevelt High School in 2003, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music.
The first years in Los Angeles were marked by rejection and financial precariousness. He signed a deal with Motown Records that went nowhere and was subsequently dropped. He turned to songwriting and production, forming the production team The Smeezingtons with Philip Lawrence and Ari Levine. Their credits accumulated rapidly: "Right Round" for Flo Rida (2009), "Nothin' on You" for B.o.B (2010), and "Billionaire" for Travie McCoy (2010) — all reaching the upper reaches of the Billboard Hot 100.
His debut solo single, "Just the Way You Are" (2010), reached number one in the United States and multiple countries worldwide. The debut album Doo-Wops & Hooligans (2010) sold over 12 million copies globally. "Grenade" and "The Lazy Song" followed as top-five singles. His second album, Unorthodox Jukebox (2012), debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and produced "Locked Out of Heaven," which spent six weeks at number one, and "When I Was Your Man."
He performed at the Super Bowl XLVIII halftime show on 2 February 2014 — the most-watched halftime show in history at the time, with over 115 million viewers. He returned for the Super Bowl 50 halftime show in 2016 alongside Coldplay and Beyoncé.
24K Magic (2016), a deliberate exercise in retro-funk and Minneapolis sound revivalism, swept the 60th Grammy Awards in January 2018, winning all six categories in which it was nominated: Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year (for "That's What I Like"), Best R&B Album, Best R&B Performance, and Best R&B Song. It was the first album to sweep all three general field categories since Adele's

The Sun in Libra already carries a relational, aesthetically attuned identity; the tight sextile to Uranus in Sagittarius introduces an element of spontaneity and expansive risk-taking into that aesthetic framework. In the tradition, Sun-Uranus sextiles are read as configurations where originality comes easily — it does not have to be forced or performed but flows as part of the identity itself.
### Jupiter square Pluto
Jupiter at 7°10' Aquarius squares Pluto at 3°54' Scorpio, orb 3°16'. Jupiter governs expansion, vision, and the amplification of what it touches. Pluto governs transformation, power, and the encounter with depth. The square creates friction between these registers — the drive to expand encounters the demand for transformation, and ambition is tested by the encounter with intensity and the mechanisms of power. In the tradition, Jupiter-Pluto squares are read as configurations of powerful ambition that does not settle easily — the vision is large, the stakes are felt deeply, and the tension between the two generates relentless forward motion.
### The generational Neptune-Pluto sextile
Neptune at 1°02' Capricorn sextiles Pluto at 3°54' Scorpio, orb 2°52'. This is generational — the Neptune-Pluto sextile persisted throughout the 1980s and 1990s — but its relatively tight orb gives it presence in this individual pattern. Neptune governs the ideal, the imaginative, and the dissolution of boundaries; Pluto governs transformation and power. Their sextile connects idealism and depth in a productive relationship.
The planetary pattern here is read as a symbolic portrait, not a causal explanation. No planet caused, predicted, or determined any event or characteristic.

In 2021, he released "Leave the Door Open" with Anderson .Paak under the duo name Silk Sonic, followed by the album An Evening with Silk Sonic (2021). The single won Record of the Year and Song of the Year at the 2022 Grammy Awards.
As of 2025, he has sold an estimated 130 million records worldwide and has won fifteen Grammy Awards. His live shows — characterized by elaborate choreography, a tight band, and a vocal range that draws on James Brown, Michael Jackson, and Prince in equal measure — are consistently cited among the most technically accomplished in contemporary pop.
